From 30 mar 18 to 30 apr 18, every time i drove the vehicle, i would loose power steering and stabilitrak after driving about 8 miles. Tried shutting the engine off and wait about 3 minutes and system would be back online.

I was travelling at 45 mph and power steering fails. Truck is very difficult to steer. I stopped vehicle and restarted, power steering now functional. I took in to dealer who told me there was an electrical short and that i would need to purchase new part at cost of $1700.00. Hard to accept this cost on a 2 1/2 year old truck. Truck has 49000 miles, so not covered in bumper to bumper warranty.

There is a recall for 1/15-3/15 build date only which is insane because mine built in 11/14 has the same parts and the same defects. Dealer and gm refuse to help.
