While backing up my driveway glanced at the backup camera.it appeared to have plenty of distance left between the rear or car and the garage door. 2005 chevy colorado rusted frame next to rear cab mounts on both sides. Frame is cracking in this location. This appears to be the result of rusting from the inside out because the rest of frame looks to be in good condition. Still has paint on it. I think this is a weak spot in the frame due to a structural engineering issue. I have found many other people complaining of the same problem with there chevy colorado's

When put vehicle in park i am often unable to remove the key from the ignition. I have to restart it & move steering wheel to another position. Often have to do several times before i can get key out. Dealer said there are complaints with vehicle being put in park & they said to move shifter in/out of park to get it to work. I can not figure out if shifter or steering column.
