2007 chevrolet colorado. I am encountering a condition which was initially only very irritating but i now consider to be hazardous. The heater fan motor periodically stops working and after a few days will resume working. I have had a few occasions when i could not defrost my windshield in icing conditions. Htr/ac blower motor won't work at 3 lowest speeds, only works at #4 highest speed. Temporary fix at wire connector by cleaning a burnt connector. Finally failed again in less than a year. Truck is out of warranty, dealership claims they never heard of such a problem, but think that a new blower motor would solve problem. I disagree.
