On the freeway , a 'power steering 'signal turned on . Suddenly steering wheel became locked . Tires pushed car to the left . Brakes , gas , entire truck stalled.vert dangerous and came with no warning.

I got a check engine light while and engine goes into reduced power mode. You can't drive in reduced power mode! I have to clear it to move the truck. I did a scan which showed a p2138 code. But its just in memory and the dealer wont fix it unless its an active code but can't drive to the dealer in reduced power mode. Its a catch 22

A few years ago, noticed my cruise control wasn't working. I took it to a certified repair shop and found out the part was under recall, and that my brake lights weren't working either. The problem was fixed, until this week. I noticed today that while driving, the cruise isn't working. When i parked my truck, i tested my back brakes in a reflection- not working either! Again! Is this part under recall still?
